How to return a serve?
You don’t always have to return a serve towards the sidelines. Return serve deep down the middle (or to a small distance away from the center line - either towards the right or towards the left). That will make your opponent lose his/her stance a little bit - because they get pushed out of the court a little bit to handle your return.
